numero tres! the third post on my fabulous set of all natural Spring soaps that is on sale.
lavender-lime! This was by far the most popular soap I had at the art festival. Many people love lavender for its unique herbaceous scent that is both relaxing and uplifting. It is one of the most diverse essential oils and has been used for ages to help with nervous conditions, skin problems (it has great anti-bacterial properties), headaches, etc. Many times people will use it to help them fall asleep. A drop or two of lavender essential oil in a hot bath before bed time really does help. From my experience, a little sachet of dried lavender in your pillow case helps you fall to sleep quickly and sleep more soundly.
As you know, I love lavender - just take a look at my lavender sorbet and lavender-lemon cookies and lavender tea posts. Lavender is beautiful on its own, that is undeniable.. but! I've been thinking clean and green, I've been thinking absolute refreshment and along came my bottle of lime essential oil. Perhaps it is the blooming citrus all around town that has citrus on my mind but whatever the reason, warmer months mean citrus scents. Lighter, sparkling, fun scents, like this one! It brings the cheerful goodness of freshly cut lime to the balancing, beautiful scent of lavender.
Because lavender is considered an herbal scent, rather than a floral, it is well liked by both men and women (I hate to stereotype but women do tend to lean in the floral direction more than men). The addition of lime really makes this one well received by all and it is certainly one of my new favorites and I am thinking of introducing it to my line as a soap that is always available rather than a seasonal option, what do you think?

Lavender and Lime sound like a heavenly combination. I have long loved lavender and orange together.
